We've been spending A LOT of time in our swimsuits and outside in the pool! (Some days Corynn spends the whole day in her swimsuit.)
Well, actually, very little swimming occurs. Mostly Corynn just plays with the water, rather than in it.

I think this is her "Oops, mommy I got my clothes wet" look! Oh well, when it's 1oo+ degrees, it feels good and dries quickly!

Four-wheeler fun! It's pretty easy to drive through the grass these days, since it's all dried up and dead. :(

On Sunday Kevin had a triathlon at Lake Afton near Goddard, KS. We were up and out of the house early again, and once again Kevin won the race!! Papa Nickel also came to cheer Kevin on and helped entertain Corynn before, during and after the race.
Thank goodness there was a playground and swings to keep Corynn occupied for the hours we were there.

On a note unrelated to Corynn, we spent our 4th of July at home cleaning out our vehicles. We recently decided to sell our old Olds that continued to give us problems, and we're blessed to inherit great-grandma Nickel's Cavalier as a replacement. So we washed and detailed all three cars on our holiday. On Tuesday we posted our Olds on craigslist.com and by Thursday it was sold and off our yard!! That was my first real experience with craigslist, but I'm a believer now and can't wait to find more things around our house to sell!
