Showing off her swimming skills
Obviously this suit wasn't necessary in 6 inches of water, but Corynn picked it out this day, so I let her wear it. Then she slipped and went underwater and came up with this awesome hair-do.

We also recently purchased a used bike trailer and finally got it in working condition this week. We hoped that Corynn would enjoy riding in it, and she did! She especially loved the fact that her puppy and kitty (not to mention a snack and drink) could ride along with her. Hopefully we'll have many more fun bike rides together as a family this summer.
Since we failed to really celebrate our anniversary on the 13th, we decided we would get away for a night this weekend and leave Corynn with her Nickel grandparents. We spent the night at The Castle Inn Riverside in Wichita. This was the 3rd time we've stayed at this bed and breakfast and it was as wonderful as we'd remembered. We had a very relaxing weekend and Corynn had a great time with her papa and draw-draw (her new name for her grandmas).
Kevin surprised me on Friday before we left with this beautiful bouquet of flowers

Corynn was exhausted as we drove her home after her weekend with papa and grandma, and was so cute holding her baby
Unfortunately our 4th of July celebration was a little rainy. It rained from late on Saturday till almost supper time on Sunday. Even though our pool party got canceled, we still shot off some fireworks from aunt Pam and uncle Brent's porch and had a great bar-be-que with the Nickel and Abraham's families.
This was one of the most exciting fireworks! No one new what to expect from this chicken, and it didn't disappoint! :)
We brought these ear "muffs" for Corynn to wear during the loud fireworks, but she just preferred to be inside
