On Saturday, July 18 we celebrated Stephan's 3rd birthday! He requested a "Do you want to drive my tractor?" birthday party (see the youtube video with the same name), so we did what we could to go with that theme.

Thanks to our awesome neighbors, we had an actual John Deere combine, 4-wheel-drive tractor and grain cart on our yard for the party Saturday evening. Stephan thought that was 'awesome!'
Our neighbor Christian (in blue) came over during the party to help us get a better idea of how the big equipment works. I think everyone - especially the kids - enjoyed exploring the big green machines!
Stephan blew out his 3 candles with little effort!
Enjoying supper with family and friends!! (We had numerous John Deere miniatures on the tables as decorations, but most of them didn't last long as Stephan took them all to the living room to play with before the party even started.)
Thanks again to the Vogt's for loaning us their tractor and combine for the evening! Stephan hasn't stopped talking about the 'big things' in his yard since then!
