A Big Move

Yet another busy week kept us on our toes again! If we weren't going somewhere, someone was coming to our place for a visit. In a nutshell, our excitement consisted of:

- a visit from our Parent's As Teachers educator Patty (who Corynn always looks forward to seeing)
- a Salad Supper at Tabor Church with grandma Nickel, several aunts, and many other friends
- watching a Hesston HS track meet
- a preschool open house
- having lunch in Moundridge with my boss
- and participating in the Emma Creek Classic 5k walk (which Corynn actually walked at least 2 miles of despite trying to keep her in the stroller)

But the other big event at our house this weekend was moving Corynn across the hall into her new room so the baby could have her old room (keep in mind this was her idea since we didn't care which room either child had).

So Saturday afternoon our guest bedroom officially became known as "Corynn's Room!" She was very excited to move her bed, clothes, and toys into her "new" room! Kevin helped move the bed when he got home from work, then Corynn and I continued to put her clothes in her closet and the new dresser drawers. I let her choose which clothes should go in each drawer thus keeping her very excited to help with the moving process.

just where to put them on her headboard.

Ready for nap time in her new room!

But alas, nap time in her new room was just a little too exciting and not much sleeping happened. It was probably after 3pm when we were finally done moving things, but for the following two hours or so, Corynn played in her room, sang songs, or wandered around between her room and the baby's room - NOT sleeping.

At one point I found her laying like this in
her old closet - now filled with baby things.
She seemed to be almost asleep, but just
moments later she was up and wandered
back to her bedroom.

Eventually, however, around 5pm she did fall asleep and slept until 8 o'clock! Just enough time to eat supper, take a bath, and go back to bed! Thankfully, she still slept just fine through the night!

On Sunday, after helping with a lunch at church, we stopped by my parent's house for a few hours in the afternoon. Nothing too thrilling was going on there, Kevin just wanted to run in the area, I wanted to take a nap, and Corynn always has a good time playing with Papa and Grandma! Here are a few of the cute photos I captured from the afternoon.

Marbles are one of her favorite things these
days, and since we don't have any marble
games, she is always thrilled to play with
grandma and grandpas!

Just being silly! There are always lots of giggles when papa
is involved!

And this week marked the end of month #6
of my pregnancy! Hello 3rd trimester!
