A Little Monkey Business

This week Corynn turned on her "monkey business" mode. On Tuesday I went into her room after her to help her get dressed, only to find her up on top of her chest of drawers! Apparently she needed her hair clips and didn't want my help getting them. Evidently she used the drawer cut-outs as steps and handholds and climbed up the drawers like a rock climber.

On Wednesday after some quiet time in her room, I came to check on her and she showed me how she had taken a stuffed animal off of a shelf on her wall and switched it from one from her bed. I asked her how she got up to her shelf, and she informed me she climbed up on her cedar chest, stood up and pulled the animal down! What!? Where did this little daredevil come from?

And if that wasn't silly enough, later in the week she came out of her room wearing her footie pajamas (over her regular clothes) and her hooded bath towel over her head. Unfortunately she wouldn't pose for me nicely.

The weather was gorgeous on Thursday, so Corynn and grandma Peters enjoyed some time outside in the afternoon - without coats. Can you believe it's January and 60+ degrees?!

Here's the latest view of the lighthouse - with a door
