On Wednesday we were able to play with Max who was also at Living Rooms By Gayle when we were there. He's the same age as our nieces and is so cute and smiley!
Filling her pockets with credit cards so she could go grocery shopping - one of her favorite pretend things to do at home!
On Thursday we enjoyed some time outside and made some pretty artistic sidewalk chalk drawings. It was sprinkling off and on, so Corynn decided we should draw in the garage so we didn't get wet.

This is what I woke up with one morning. Yes, this is my bed!
Corynn often wakes up before me, but after Kevin has left for work, so she climbs into bed with me and goes back to sleep. But lately she hasn't wanted to go back to sleep so she brings toys into my bed and plays while I try to get a few more minutes of sleep. This particular day she apparently played with her dolls, a puzzle, her CD players, a book, and who knows what else before she decided she was still tired. This photo was taken at 9:30am!
On a side note, in the past couple of weeks, Corynn has also stopped using a bib and booster seat. Both her choice, not mine, but it's going fine. She's becoming such a (stubborn) big girl!
Earlier in the week I won a radio contest that rewarded me with 4 tickets to the Wichita WingNuts baseball game on Sunday (and some other stuff), so we braved the heat and went and watched baseball Sunday night.
This was Corynn's first experience with baseball, but she wasn't too sure about it
Thankfully we brought along some of Corynn's toys and books, just in case baseball wasn't her kind of entertainment. (This is her new favorite face these days - sticking out her tongue - anytime we say or ask her to do something she doesn't want to do.)
We started out sitting behind home plate but eventually moved to the third base line in hopes of getting a little more breeze. Unfortunately it didn't help.
Corynn liked keeping an eye out for Spinner the Squirrel who would appear between innings (if you look closely you can see him in the front row)
She also like it when the announcer would say "Everybody clap your hands!" then she'd laugh and clap her hands along with the rest of the crowd
It was a pretty muggy night at the ballpark, but the WingNuts won, so it's all good, right?!
Corynn discovered she can do a somersault all by herself! See for yourself:

This has always been a favorite book of Corynn's since she was much younger, but recently our Parent's as Teacher's educator brought Corynn colored paper animals (on Popsicle sticks) that go along with the characters in the story, and now Corynn has even more fun with the book.
