All Smiles

This week I figured out how to get Corynn to smile nicely for pictures! Thanks to her cousin Sam for demonstrating this technique while trick-or-treating last weekend, if we tell her to say "Chuckie Cheese" she will and then gives us a big cheesy smile! It's way better than the silly open mouth look we got a few weeks ago, see below.

Smiling a cheesy grin with her hands in her pajama pockets

After removing every book from her book shelf, and reading each of them, she was happy to pose for me

Corynn said a lot of funny, new words and phrases this week, including:
-"open sesame"
-"anybody home?"
-"read caterpillar book" (referencing "The Very Hungry Caterpiller" book)
-"corn candy"
-"tickle bugs coming"
-and counting to ten which sounds like "One, two, threev, five, six, nine, ten!"

Unfortunately this week Corynn decided no one in the house needed a full nights rest, so she woke us up at least once every single night with her crying. We're not exactly sure if she woke up because she was cold or if she's getting more teeth, but we tried everything to avoid it when putting her to bed. Hopefully we solve that mystery really soon because we're all pretty tired!

Here are a few more silly photos from our week - November 1-7:

Playing in the "tent" - everything from a tiny doll blanket to her shirts became a tent this week

Corynn typically uses this notebook and colored pencils to color pictures, but this week she invented a new way to use them

After unpacking all of the balls and toys from the closet across the hall, she posed in her room for one more photo
