On Monday we went to the doctor for Corynn's 15 month well-child check up. Everything is looking good, and Corynn weighs somewhere in the 18 pound range - still small for her age, but she's still gaining consistently.
Tuesday morning we went to aunt Pam's house and while Pam, aunt Eunice, and I worked on some crafty projects, Corynn and cousin Sam played with grandma!
St. Patrick's Day Wednesday was our typical day to go work in Newton, so we spent several hours there as usual. This week great-aunt Gayle brought some toys from her house, so Corynn had "new" toys to explore and play with. We found out she loves the Jack-in-the-box!
We made a quick morning trip to McPherson with aunt Eunice on Thursday morning to run a few errands. In the evening we went and watched uncles Kent, Jason, and Kenton play basketball against each other at the annual Western District Conference basketball tournament held at Bethel College.
Friday was a fairly relaxing day at home, but in the evening I played in the WDC volleyball tournament at Hesston High School, so Kevin and Corynn came along to watch. During the game the ice and snow started falling so it was a slow, scary trip home, but thankfully we survived without any excitement!
Since the roads were a sheet of ice Saturday morning, Kevin opted to stay home from work; but that meant we could get a lot of work done at home. We recently purchased carpet tile for our basement and were anxious to start installing it. We spent about 7 hours on Saturday working on that project and completed about two-thirds of the basement floor before we had to leave for supper at some friends' house!
Here are some photos and videos to recap the week - March 15-21:

Hello grandma? Corynn loves playing with my phone!
While having lunch with grandma, Corynn was begging for her chocolate brownie so grandma just had to indulge her.

Being silly with daddy!
After Kevin opened some boxes we got in the mail, Corynn found a new use for them!

Corynn learned some new dance moves this week and was trying to teach them to me. Now it's even more hilarious to watch her shake those hips!
