On Tuesday, while playing with Corynn and flipping her upside-down, I noticed that she had another tooth - on the upper right side, but towards the back of her mouth. It's either an eye tooth or a molar! She only has her two bottom front teeth otherwise, but why not throw a molar in there as well! Crazy! That might explain the constant runny nose and extra fussiness over the past few days.
This week Corynn also discovered the joy of unrolling toilet paper! When she's too quite for too long, I can almost guess that she's in one of the bathrooms. Not only does she unroll it, she loves to rip it into tiny pieces like confetti. So much for even reusing the paper then!
On Wednesday afternoon, Corynn started coming down with a cough and cold. I had heard that RSV and bronchitis were going around, so I feared the worst. By Friday it had turned into a very hacking cough, so I took her in to the doctor's office. Fortunately her doctor said it was only a cold and her ears looked fine and lungs sounded clear. But Saturday and Sunday Corynn continued to cough and cough! Waking up numerous times at night and during naps wasn't fun for any of us, but we just kept treating her with cough medicine and hoping for the best.
On Saturday - despite our sick child (who probably should have stayed at home) - we went to Wichita again for some more errands and an early Valentine's supper at Old Chicago. We also stopped at Toys 'R' Us and FINALLY bought Corynn her Christmas present - a Sesame Street flip-open slumber sofa. It's a comfy kids couch that unfolds into a bed, and even has a sleeping bag attached. It didn't take her long once we got home to start climbing all over it. Hopefully she continues to enjoy it.

Running through the house with evidence of her mischief following her
Our little Linus - pulling her blanket around the houseDue to her infatuation with playing IN the fireplace, we had to block it off. Obviously this hasn't stopped her from still enjoying a place to sit and line up all her toys.
Going for a ride in her doll's stroller. Even Corynn looks too big for this one, but she loved it.
As I was working in the kitchen one morning, Corynn unpacked our aprons from one of the drawers she plays in and this is what I saw. She's become such a clown of the past few weeks!
Playing peek-a-boo at my desk ~ this is nearly a daily event
Our messy little eater (notice the pieces of ham and cheese on her forehead and neck)
Reading books on her new couch/bed
