Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope that you too had a wonderful Christmas season with your family and friends!

We had a busy week with 4 gatherings in 4 days, but it was so nice to spend time with family during this time of year!

On Christmas Eve we ventured out in the snow storm to the evening church service at Alexanderwohl, and then had Christmas at my parent's house afterward.

Because of the snow and the fact that the Christmas Day church services were canceled, we spent Christmas Eve night at my parents house. In the morning we headed to Kevin's parents house for a delicious Christmas morning breakfast! Then we spent the day opening gifts, taking naps, and playing!

All tuckered out from all the celebrating

Saturday noon meant lunch with the Funk family (Kevin's mom's family). This time the crowd totaled around 50, I think! It's always a loud, busy, fun gathering; with amazing food!

After church on Sunday, we went to great-grandma Nickel's house for another great meal - our annual Christmas brunch! As nap time for the kids approached, we headed back over to Kevin's parent's house and had a fun afternoon relaxing and playing games with Kevin's uncle, aunt, and cousins who had traveled in from Colorado.

Opening presents, with a fury

All in all it was a great Christmas for our family. We feel truly blessed to have such a loving and giving family! Thank you all for the gifts, cards, e-mails, and thoughts during this holiday season!

Please enjoy a few more photos and several videos from this week - December 21-27:

The many faces of Corynn:

This is her new "serious" look; she gives it to everyone!

Blowing

Confused

And happy!

Corynn's new place to play! This can keep her occupied for nearly hours, until she pinches a finger!

Some serious dancing - to Christmas music on the radio, I think

I taught her to blow one day at lunch. If you look closely, you can see Corynn accidentally blow her Cheerio at me.

Corynn got this box with little wooden people in it, and uncle Kenton and her were having some fun taking them out and putting them back in the box! This went on for quite some time - it was hilarious!
