Getting Into the Christmas Spirit

This week we attempted to get into the Christmas spirit by finally getting out our Christmas decorations and putting up our artificial Christmas tree. Not knowing how Corynn would react to the tree, we decided to put it in our basement where we always pay close attention to her (unlike when I let her run around carefree while I'm working upstairs). Surprisingly, she has no interest in the ornaments or the tree, so no major catastophies yet.

On Saturday, my mom and I went Christmas shopping in Wichita while Corynn stayed home with daddy. It was nice to be able to shop without having to worry about entertaining a little one, changing diapers, or trying to figure out how to get a nap in. Thankfully our trip was a success and we got most of what we needed for Christmas and the upcoming birthday party!

Enjoy a few photos from the week - November 30 - December 6:

One of Corynn's favorite activities - helping me with the laundry. Here she's helping me "fold" these clean clothes.

Always so happy to be walking around. Here Corynn is doing laps in our house, being silly and showing off a quick "so big" for the camera.
