First Trip to the Zoo

On St. Patrick's Day - Tuesday - the Nickel girls (and cousin Sam) went to the Sedgwick County Zoo! It was a beautiful day and beings that it was spring break, a lot of people were out visiting the animals as well. Although Corynn slept most of the time we were there, I think we all had a great time!

Later in the week Corynn and I went and watched Uncle Kent, Jason, and Kenton play basketball at Bethel as part of the Western District Conference tournament. Both Alexanderwohl and Tabor church teams ended up winning their divisions - way to go uncles!! Corynn even seemed to be paying attention to the action on the court at numerous times.

Corynn broke the 10 pound mark at weight-check this week weighing 10 lbs 1.1 oz!

Saturday night the three of us went out to Applebees for supper as we had a busy day and didn't feel like cooking. Corynn did great, sleeping until our food arrived, and staying quiet until we were almost done with dessert!

Corynn continues to improve her grip on things - now grabbing and holding on to some of her toys - she also seems to have found another octave (higher) to cry and talk in which is quite humerus, but sometimes a little too loud.

Here are a few more photos from the week - March 16-22:
