My friend Sara (with her son Jackson) and her family own and operate the patch; so it was great to catch up with her again!

We ventured out in this wagon, but it was a long time before we got to the pumpkins. We found so much to play with other than pumpkins!

First we found the round-top with the corn pile and some other silly things!

Then it was on to the swings, of course!

Finally we could venture into the actual pumpkin patch, and Corynn led the way...

Searching for the perfect pumpkin with grandma...

And we found it!
Throughout the morning we tried to get Corynn to pose for photos, but this is all we got:

A lot of mommy, Corynn not looking at the camera, and no smiles

This is about the cutest one we got and she's not even paying attention to us
She was much more interested in playing and going down this slide AGAIN and AGAIN!

Just before we left we decided to try out the hay rack ride and it was great!

Corynn enjoyed a snack on the ride around the pumpkin patch
Other news from the week - October 18-24 - includes the following:
- Corynn has started putting more words together to form actual 5 and 6 word sentences!
- I know it's probably not proper to talk about in public, but Corynn pooped in the potty one night this week. She probably won't do it again for a year, but it was a big deal to us!
- We attended a Parents as Teachers playgroup in Newton on Thursday and Corynn had a great time playing with some new kids and toys - mostly the kitchen set and baby dolls (not surprising). I think we'll definitely have to go to another one sometime soon!
